The category of Engineering and Technology encompasses well-known and lesser-known achievements of the decade. Understandably, it is vast with content, and this category is by no means complete. Our purpose is to give solid exposure to areas of accomplishment in this decade that are lesser known or unrecognized for the profound influence they hold today. Since much of how we live and work in 21st century is tied to engineering and technology advances of the 1960s, it is arguable that many of these achievements surpass all other major categories in their impact.
